Don't Wait! Register Now!

We have been approved for a full day Kindergarten program at Douglas Harkness. Next year, Kindergarten will run full days Monday to Thursday with no Kindergarten classes on Fridays. Our Welcome to Kindergarten Orientation Night is on Thursday June 6th. We would like to make sure that all of our new Kindergarten students get an invitation. If you have a child ready to start school in September, please log into the CBE website and register them right away or come to the school next week and we can assist you in registering at the school. Also, if you have any friends or neighbors with Kindergarten age children (turning 5 before January 1 2025), please tell them to register now so that we can prepare for them.

Planning for Next Year

If your family is moving out of the Pineridge community for the upcoming school year, it is important that you let us know right away. Schools are making plans and hiring staff for next year and having accurate numbers ensures that schools can be ready for the students who will be in their building in September. 

Going on Vacation this Summer?

If you are going to be away this summer and returning after the start of the new school year, please come to the office and fill out a form to let us know your return date details. In September, schools are asked to account for all students who are registered but not yet attending. The form you fill out will help the school advocate for your child’s education funding should your child start later in the school year.​​​​​​​
