Happy Birthday, Baby Chicks!

The Learning Commons was alive with the sound of baby chicks today and cheers could be heard from the classrooms as students watched the live stream of each one hatching on their Smart Board Displays. They are looking forward to introducing them to you when you come for Student-Led Conferences at the end of next week. In the meantime, tune into the live stream to watch them hatch and grow here.

Save Our Casino!

We really need your help or we are at risk of losing our upcoming casino happening April 8 and 9 at Pure Casino Calgary. Our school relies on the funds generated from the casino to purchase extra things for students such as Smart Boards, computers, sound systems, lights for assemblies, and field trips. Monday is almost full but Tuesday is pretty much empty. If you or a friend or family member are able to volunteer, please visit SignUp Genius.

Student-Led Conferences

Spots for Student Led Conferences are filling up fast! If you have not signed up yet, please log into your child’s MyCBE account and sign up today! We will be holding student-led conferences on March 21and 22. Students need to come with you to Student Led Conferences as they will be taking you through our classroom and showing you their learning/work. This is a special opportunity for your child to be a leader as they take you through some stations involving math, science/social studies, art, music etc.

After-School Supervision

We encourage all students to go home at the bell and only come back to the school if they have parent permission. A reminder to families that there is NO supervision on the field, basketball courts, or playground after school hours.
