School Spirit Week

We are having a school spirit week from June 10 to 14. Students are invited (but not required) to dress up in the following ways each day that week:

Monday

• Wear all ONE Colour Day

Tuesday

• Canadian Tuxedo (all denim) Day

Wednesday

• Dress Inside Out and Backwards Day

Thursday

• Crazy Hair or Hat Day

Friday

• Dress From the 90’s Day

Kindergarten Registration

If you have a child in your home or a Pineridge neighbour who will be 5 by December 31 2024, they are ready for Kindergarten and should be registered right away. Don’t wait until August! We are holding a fun “Welcome to Kindergarten Night” on Thursday June 6 and would like to be able to get an invitation out. Call the office if you require support with registration.

Going on Summer Holidays?

If you are going away over the summer and will not be back for the first day of school (August 29), please let the office know so that we can fill out a form that lets us know your expected return date. This will allow us to advocate for your child’s education funding should your return be delayed. 

Sports Day

We have an exciting Sports Day opportunity coming up on June 24. Mini Legends is going to be bringing some exciting field games to the school with some pretty cool equipment. In order to participate in this full day event, students will NEED TO BRING BACK A SIGNED PERMISSION SLIP. The permission slip will be sent home for signing sometime next week so please watch for it in your child’s backpack and return it to your child’s teacher as soon as possible. This is a fun event that your child will not want to miss!

School Council Meeting

Our final school council meeting of the year is being held on Thursday June 6 at 6:00 PM in the school learning commons. Please join us as we wrap up the year and look ahead to next year.
