Principal’s Message|
“Gaining momentum in the direction you want to go is entirely in your hands.”
~ Alderson
As we move into June, it reminds us that progress—whether in learning, personal growth, or achieving goals—comes from belief in ourselves. Every effort your child makes helps them grow in confidence and learning.
June is an exciting but busy time at school. Students may feel excited for summer, while also working on projects, assignments, and finishing the school year strong. During this time, it is important to support students with balance, encouragement, and rest.
We encourage families to help children stay positive and motivated this month. You can celebrate their hard work, help them set small daily goals, and remind them that every small success matters. Good sleep, organization, breaks, and open conversations about feelings can also help students do their best.
How can you support your child this month? What routines or habits at home help your child feel successful, calm, and ready to learn?
Together, we can help students finish the school year feeling proud, confident, and prepared.
Warm regards,
Lisa and Jenn
Happenings|
Our kindergarten students have loved having butterflies as their little motivators over the past few weeks. This week they released them into their surroundings.
Class Lists|
The process of developing class lists occurs right up until the first day of school next year. For this reason, families will find out who their child’s teacher is just before the start of school. Communication will be sent at the end of August regarding first day of school procedures.
Learning Commons Books|
We are asking that all books are returned to the Learning Commons by Friday, June 5, 2026. This allows us to organize and prepare books for the summer break.
School Council/Parent Society Notes|
Our next School Council and Parent Society meeting will be on June 4 at 6:00pm in the Learning Commons. We hope to see you there.
If you are interested in finding out more about School Council/Parent Society, please look under the Get Involved tab on the School Website.
