Principal’s Message|
"You'll never outgrow. You'll never forget you can always believe in the magic of yet."
~The Magical Yet
This message reminds us that learning takes time. Children may not be able to do something yet, but that does not mean they never will. With practice, support, and encouragement, learning grows.
All students have read The Magical Yet and have been taking part in lessons connected to the story. Through these lessons, students are learning about perseverance, positive thinking, and the importance of not giving up when something feels challenging.
At school, we encourage students to believe in themselves, try again, and keep learning—even when something feels hard. Mistakes are part of learning, and effort helps us improve.
Families play an important role in this message too. When we say “yet,” we help children feel confident, hopeful, and ready to keep trying.
Together, we can help children believe in the magic of yet.
Warm regards,
Lisa
Kindergarten Registration 2026-27|
Registering your child for Kindergarten is an exciting step for families! Starting Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, registration will open for the 2026–27 school year.
To begin Kindergarten next school year, children must be five years old on or before Dec. 31, 2026.
For more information, please visit the CBE Registration Page or the school website.
We also have a Kindergarten Registration Guide to help answer common questions and support you with the process.
Online Report Cards February 2026|
Families will be able to view, download, and print online report card starting in February through MyCBE. Kindergarten to Grade 9 Report Cards will be available starting Feb. 24, 2026.
Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For the best access to information, log in through the MyCBE instead of using the PowerSchool App.
Further information about assessment and reporting can be found on the CBE website.
After May 29, 2026, all Semester 1 Reports Cards will no longer be available for viewing, downloading and/or printing.
PowerSchool Updates and Forms|
We have noticed that a number of families have yet to complete various forms associated with your child’s PowerSchool account. Examples of forms that may be incomplete include media consent. Please take a moment to log into your MyCBE account to see if you have any forms to complete. Likewise, please double-check items like emergency contact information and current address as we seek to make sure we are maintaining accurate information.
