Media Consent Forms
We need all students to return the three media consent forms that were sent home on Thursday. All three forms need to be signed in order for students to be included in videos or photos taken during the Flames Launch assembly happening on Wednesday February 14.
Upcoming Guest Speakers to Douglas Harkness
- University of Calgary Dino’s Soccer Team presenting at and assisting with gym classes on February 12, 2024
- Flames Foundation APPLE School Launch assembly takes place Wednesday February 14th. Students are encouraged to wear red on this day or any Calgary Flames clothing that they might have. They can also wear their school logo T shirt. This assembly is for staff and students only. We cannot accommodate any parents/guardians at this assembly.
- Classroom Champions assembly with two Olympic Athletes February 20th. More info to come once participating grades are finalized.
Pizza Fundraiser
The Last day to order the Pizza fundraiser is March 3. Orders will arrive at the school and be sent home with students or picked up by parents/guardians on March 18. We do not have any storage for pizzas that are not collected, so if you order, please make arrangements for your order to be picked up if your child is absent on March 18.
Family Math Night
We are holding our annual Family Math Night on Thursday February 22 from 5:00-6:30pm. Families are invited to join us in the school to play a variety of fun math games with their children. Please mark your calendars and consider joining us.
